Caramel syrup

Fabulous on anything requiring syrup! (pancakes, waffles, ice cream)
1/4C butter
1C sugar
1/2C milk
1/4-1/2 tsp soda
1 TBL karo syrup
Boil till foam starts to die down. Remove from heat and add 1 tsp vanilla.
CAUTION: Use a BIG pot because this boils up A LOT!
